Top 5 Must-Watch Christmas Movies this 2018

Christmas day is drawing near? Do you know how you want to spend your Christmas Eve? Well, we definitely know what to do.

Streaming Holiday movies on Netflix, or heading to the movies to watch new Christmas movies, of course!

Today, we’re going to do a countdown of the top 5 must-watch Christmas Movies this December 2018.

Number 5 on the list: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch.

Having premiered last November 8, The Grinch was an early offering. And at the same time, the perfect herald to usher in the Christmas season.

Benedict Cumberbatch voices the green curmudgeon this time around as he terrorizes Whoville, and has a change of heart.

Watch the iconic tale come to life all over again in this epic motion picture brought to us by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures.

Number 4: The Princess Switch.

Watch Vanessa Hudgens as she takes the role of a Chicago baker and a duchess at the same time. A Chicago baker and a soon-to-be princess discover the look like twins, and together, they hatch a Christmastime plan to be in the other’s shoes. It’s a classic story of trading places — very much reminiscent of Barbie’s The Princess and the Pauper.

See this tale of humor and romance unfold as you sit back on that couch and chill with Netflix.

Number 3. It’s A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding

Lighthearted, quirky, and funny. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding is the sequel to the first installment, A Christmas Prince.

A year after Amber helped Richard secure the crown, the two are all set to tie the knot in a royal Christmas wedding. But things turn a little awry when Amber suddenly doubts she’d make a good queen.

It’s one of those typical romance Christmas movies with a predictable ending, but you can’t help but watch it and have fun doing so genuinely too.

Coming in at number 2: The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Do little girls still remember Barbie’s version of the The Nutcracker. It was very Christmas-y — to say the least. And that’s why Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms makes it to our list of Christmas movies that you have to watch before this year ends.

An all-star cast has been assembled to retell us this timeless tale. Join Clara and Phillip as they enter the fourth realm to retrieve the key and restore harmony to an unstable land.

It premiered back in November 2, but when it comes out on DVD soon enough, you don’t want to miss it.

And number one. The Christmas Chronicles.

Twas the night before Christmas, and the kids wanted to catch the jolly big man on camera. But Santa Claus isn’t what they thought he was. After causing a few mishaps for old Saint Nick, it’s now the siblings’ job to pull an all-nighter to save Christmas.

Kind of like how Jack Skellington ruined Christmas for everybody until Santa Clause stepped in to save the night.

The Christmas Chronicles is on Netflix, and it’s a Christmas adventure you wouldn’t want to miss.
