How To

How to Play Games from Google Play Without Downloading Them

The Scoop: Sometimes we are just hanging out in Google Play to browse for games to play. However, we won’t know if we will like the game or not unless we download all of it. Never fear because you can now play games from Google Play without downloading them.

Recently, Google has updated Google Play Store with a new look and a newly added feature: Google Play Instant. Before, you have to download games in order to check whether that game works for you or not. However, that is not the case now.

Google Play Instant allows users to play games without downloading it as a trial. If you have a good internet connection, you will be able to experience the game in the same performance that it will be played when it is downloaded.

By tapping on the “Try Now” or “Play” button and you will be able to play the game as if you just downloaded in on your phone. While playing the game, the app will ask you if you liked the game and offers a button to download the game to your device.

Exiting from the game makes it go away without leaving an icon on your app drawer which functions similarly as a tab in a browser.

Check it out in action in this video.

Browsing for Games Has Never Been Easier

Although the app only has a handful of games available to be played instantly such as Crosswords(I like this game, by the way), Clash Royale, Mighty Battles, and a few more, this is still an exciting concept.

This makes browsing and searching for the perfect game for your phone so much easier! Let’s hope that there will be more games that Google Play Instant will support in the future.

So what game are you going to play to try out the new feature?
